Abstract
Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is a rare but potentially life-threatening condition that occurs when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the peripheral nervous system. This disorder often follows a viral or bacterial infection, with many patients reporting the onset of symptoms after recovering from a respiratory or gastrointestinal infection. Though it is not well-known in the general public, GBS holds significant implications for public health due to its ability to strike swiftly, paralyze, and potentially lead to long-term disability.
