Cervix is the lower part of the uterus in the female reproductive system. Cervix is commonly the entrance passage to the womb area. Cervical screening test is commonly used to check the state or health of the cells in the cervix. This test is not used to diagnose the cervical cancer. There are many screening methods available like Pap test, liquid based cytology, the HPV (Human papilloma virus) DNA testing etc. different countries suggest or offers women to take this screening test for example in Europe women between the age of 25 to 64 suggests/offer to have this test. In US, the age limit is between 21 to 65.
