Adnexal referred to an additional structure on an organ like on eye, skin and uterus. Adnexal tumor is the defines growth of tumor around the uterus which includes fallopian tube, uterus. Normally ovaries produce follicular cyst 6-7 times in a year, and they automatically resolve within menstrual cycle because of the self-limiting nature. Sometimes in very rare situation; these cysts remain in the ovaries and enlarges which cause adnexal masses. There are no symptoms until and unless they are large enough to interfere with the normal body functioning. Most common symptoms which are seen are abdominal pain or cramps, irregular menstrual cycles etc.
